An un-inspiring 1980’s chalet purchased by our client for its prime location and stunning views. The brief was for a traditional exterior with a contemporary influence and a modern interior with a traditional influence. To achieve this and maximise the chalet’s potential, the whole building was redesigned and modernized creating a light-filled, double height living room and extending the chalet to include 5 bedrooms. Large openings and balconies were added so that the panoramic views could be fully enjoyed.

The extension created a large terrace from which the family can
enjoy the sun from morning to evening. The design is tailored to
suit a rental market.
