The design of these semi-detached chalets was determined by the shape of the site. By off setting or staggering the design we were able to create a more private feel to the chalets, without shared balconies or overlooked terraces. Both chalets use sustainable energy, one with photovoltaic and solar panels, the other with geo thermic heating. Under the planning rules at the time of the build, these green energies provided the opportunity to increase the floor area of the development, creating two 4-bedroom chalets. To make optimal use of winter sunlight, the living areas are located on the upper floors. The exterior has been sympathetically finished in wood and stone.
