Rustic simplicity and luxurious comfort merge into one at ‘Ecurie’ as the chalet, formerly a stable, pays homage to the traditional architecture of the Savoie. Our renovation retained the original building’s distinctive appearance and generous use of wood and stone.
Our design brief was to strip back the Ecurie to the simple essence of Savoyard design. The design aesthetic is pure and minimalist. Handcrafted furnishings, such as worn oak tables, are paired with mountain-toned fabrics and a tasteful mélange of antique pieces. This organic approach to comfort extends to bedrooms, with soft wool fabrics coupled with linen lampshades completed by downy bed linens. The Ecurie was designed for cocooning.
