The renovation of a 130-year-old Savoie stable, creating a luxurious mountain retreat. The design brief was to respect the buildings heritage and style yet to create a warm, cozy chalet. The inspiration for the design was the local 'montagnette', a mountain dwelling at altitude used in the summer when the cows are on high pastureland. The colours are muted, the decor minimal; there are no distractions to prevent one from finding peace and calm. The design is tailored to suit a rental market.
